Plompe Toren

Climb the tower and spot seals on the sandbar in the distance! Here on the South Coast, between 1475 and 1650, at least fifteen villages disappeared in the water. And what remained is only the Plompe Toren. Once the tower belonged to the prosperous village of Koudekerke. The tower keeper also holds regular excursions for you. These are communicated on the chalkboard at the Delta car parked at the Plompe Toren. The Delta car is open daily from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. during the summer months.
