Anyone walking or driving along the Scheldedijk near Hingene cannot miss the Pavilion de Notelaer. This pavilion is about 200 years old and owes its name to a huge walnut tree that served as a beacon for boaters. The high windows give you a nice veiw of the Scheldt polders and its surroundings from the salon. It is also a great point for walks and bicycle tours. Now there are also regular concerts, exhibitions, and workshops.
