Polderhuis Westkapelle

The Polderhuis Westkapelle tells the history of the dike village of Westkapelle. The museum focuses on one of the most poignant periods in the history of the dike village: the Second World War. The bombing of the dikes in Walcheren in 1944, the inundation and liberation that followed, the closing of the dike and the reconstruction. In addition, you can visit the large lighthouse at the beginning of the village and the little iron tower on the dike itself.
