Geosites

Learn more about the geology of our beautiful Geopark Scheldt Delta here. We have identified, especially for you, 40 sites of geological scientific interest on which the application for UNESCO Global Geopark is based. This list is based on a preliminary scientific evaluation in cooperation with the Science Chamber. The 40 geosites together form the backbone for the discovery and understanding of the Geopark Scheldt Delta because they highlight exceptional heritage.
