Admidst the forests and fields of the Meetjesland lies the Drongengoed Farm Visitor Gateway: a former reclamation farm of the Norbertines of Drongen, built in 1746 by Abbot De Stoop. Once an economic centre of monastic agriculture, it is now a visitor gateway where nature, heritage and experience come together.
Learn more about the history of the farm and the surrounding landscape, shaped by the Oedelem-Zomergem Cuesta, in the permanent exhibition “The Secret of the Cuesta”. Start your walk or bike ride from the site, enjoy a drink at the authentic inn with its charming terrace, or join one of the workshops.
